The Grande Prairie Regional Association of Volunteer Organizations is proud to present the Leaders of Tomorrow Awards! These annual awards celebrate exceptional young leaders aged 13-18 who inspire others through their volunteer work and dedication to their community.
Award Categories:
- Leadership Award: Recognizing a youth who takes initiative and drives positive change in their school or community.
- Volunteer Award: Honoring a youth who selflessly dedicates their time to helping others, regardless of leadership roles.
- Perseverance Award: Celebrating a youth who demonstrates resilience and strength while supporting others through challenges.
- Advocacy Award: Applauding a youth who passionately champions a cause and works to create positive change.
Eligibility:
- Age: 13-18 years old
- Active volunteer involvement in school, community, or other settings
- Contributions must have occurred between November 2023 and October 2024
- Residence within the Grande Prairie region (City and County of Grande Prairie, extending North to Grimshaw, East to Valleyview, South to Grande Cache and West to the Alberta-BC Border)

- Community Groups
- Educational Institutions
- Voluntary Organizations
How to Nominate:
- Complete the nomination form: Download or request a form by contacting programs@volunteergrandeprairie.com.
- Parental/Guardian Consent (if applicable): Obtain a signature from the nominee’s parent or guardian if they are under 18 years old.
- Inform the Nominee: Let the nominee know about the nomination and that the committee may contact them for further information.
- Submit by Deadline: Submit the completed nomination form to the Grande Prairie Regional Association of Volunteer Organizations by Friday, October 18, 2024.
