Pregnancy Care Centre Grande Prairie nominates Adyne Bell for Tim Hortons Volunteers of the Week! They wrote ‘Adyne faithfully answers our afterhours phone one night a week, giving our staff a much-needed break. This allows us to continue offering after hours support to women needing support.’

Fallon Weislein and Grande Prairie Palliative Care Society nominates Deana Marth for Tim Hortons Volunteers of the Week! They wrote ‘Deana has logged the most hours this month in our Helping Hands Hospice Visitor program. She has eagerly accepted tasks including mentoring new volunteers through shadow shifts. She sets a great example for her family and community.’

Amber brings amazing ideas to the table and is good at keeping us in line and reminding us of our core values. We are excited to see what creative things she has in store for the next year!’

He comes with fresh ideas, especially when it comes to marketing and fundraising, and is willing to put in the work to make those ideas a reality. This year’s rainbow crosswalk painting was turned into an incredible event by his efforts to run a barbecue and provide space for people to enjoy themselves. Thank you Johnathan!’

Grande Prairie Pride Society nominates Jessica Schoepp for Tim Hortons Volunteers of the Week! They wrote ‘Jessica is truly invaluable to have on our board. She spent countless hours preparing for this year’s Pride activities, and even worked all of the events as a volunteer. She does this on top of her job, as a new mom in a busy household, alongside other volunteer commitments. Thank you Jessica for all you do!’

Frontier College nominates Marian Mark for Tim Hortons Volunteers of the Week! They wrote ‘Marian has been a dedicated, caring, and enthusiastic supporter of Frontier College for over two years. She has volunteered year-round in our 1-1 tutoring program and summer Reading Tent program. Last summer, Marian was integral to the success of our Reading Tents. She was extremely helpful in all aspects of the events, from set-up to tear-down and all of the children’s activities in between! Over the past school year, Marian shared her time, knowledge, patience, and kindness to help a young student improve her literacy skills. Marian joined in celebrating all of the Frontier College learners at their year-end party, which was a well-deserved event for everyone involved! Thanks for being such a wonderful volunteer, Marian!
